Welcome to Apex Metal Industries

Founded originally in 1969, Apex Metal Industries was a manufacturer of Hydraulic Cylinders and Post-Tensioning Anchors, supplying the Oil and Gas and Construction Industries in Canada and the United States.

In 1977 a new division of Apex Metal Industries was formed, a division that supplied the Oil and Gas Industries around the Globe with various types of Pressure Fittings. In 1977 the engineers at Apex helped with the designs of many fittings, including the Flow-Wolf Grease Fitting, and the Vent and Relief Fittings still used today. Also, in this new division, Apex purchased one of the first CNC machines in Alberta. This launched a new era in production machining, that in turn allowed Apex to manufacture some of the most precise fittings at the time.

For over 40 years Apex Metal Industries has continued to meet the sophisticated needs of its’ customers by keeping up with technological advances in production capabilities.

In 2007, Apex implemented the ISO 9001-2000, an internationally recognized quality management system. In 2010 it was upgraded to the ISO 9001-2008 standard.

With Apex combined staff having over 100 years of machining and production experience, we are able to continually supply the highest quality fittings throughout the world.
